Welcome

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for an exclusive event on the Frontiers of Proteomics, hosted by Evosep on September 1st just before the Nordic MS & Proteomics conference in Odense. This event promises to be a convergence of minds and ideas at the forefront of proteomic research and industry applications.

Event Details:

  • Date: September 1st
  • Time: 10:00 – 13:00
  • Venue: Evosep Headquarters

Highlights of the Event:

  • Co-Exhibition Opportunity: Industry partners are invited to co-exhibit roll ups, showcasing your latest innovations and solutions in the field of proteomics.
  • Networking: Engage with peers, thought leaders, and customers from the proteomics community in a dynamic environment.
  • Lunch and Learn: The event will conclude with a lunch, providing an opportunity for relaxed conversations and deeper connections.
  • Evosep will arrange a bus transportation to Nordic MS & Proteomics conference

This event is not just a meeting of minds but also a celebration of the leaps we have made in proteomics and a look forward to the future we are building together. Your presence would be invaluable as we discuss, deliberate, and dine.

Performance Evaluation of LC-MS Method for Absolute Quantification of Protein Biomarkers Using Evosep One Coupled to Xevo TQ Absolute

Talk by Finnur Freyr Eiriksson, General Manager at ArcticMass

We developed an LC-MS method using the Evosep Eno coupled to the Xevo TQ Absolute for absolute quantification of protein biomarkers in plasma, targeting early risk prediction of myocardial infarction. Bottom-up proteomics sample preparation was optimized via design of experiments and automated workflow demonstrated better sensitivity, improved reproducibility, and increased throughput. This reliable platform holds potential to accelerate translational proteomics in clinical research, facilitating faster biomarker discovery and validation.

Clinical proteomics in a clinical laboratory – where are we and where are we heading?

Talk by Professor Nicolai J. Wewer Albrechtsen, Head of the Center for Translational Research and Clinical Professor at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital

Clinical proteomics is rapidly moving from research into routine diagnostics, yet its integration in clinical laboratories remains limited. At Copenhagen, we are advancing this transition by establishing proteomics as a tool for patient care. We highlight two areas where this shift is most tangible: infectious diseases, using Borrelia as a model for improved pathogen detection and monitoring, and hematological disorders, where proteomic profiling offers novel insights into red blood cell diseases. Together, these examples illustrate how clinical proteomics is redefining laboratory medicine and shaping the future of precision diagnostics.
