Meet Evosep at this year’s HUPO 2021
This year HUPO ReCONNECT will be a fully virtual conference from November 15-19. Using the virtual platform Gather.Town it will be possible for delegates to talk to each other using video chat and walk around a virtual hallway to mingle.
Though virtual, this year’s conference still presents a strong program with Plenary & Keynote Sessions as well as Hot Topic Discussion Groups and Industry Seminars. We also have some exciting activities planned and as a virtual event there really is no excuse not to be there. W

Hot topic discussion
Standardization is key (for sample separation for MS based proteomics analysis)
Reviewing the methods sections in published papers, it looks like everybody has their own standard or optimized solution. But the variety makes it difficult to reproduce the experiments, makes it harder to compare results, and slows down knowledge transfer. The question then is whether standardization will hurt innovation or enable a deeper focus on the biological mechanisms under study.

Science and Technology award
HUPO is special to us as this was where we first launched the Evosep One back in 2017. Since then, a lot has happened. We have move to a more spacious office and many new faces have joined the team.
This year we are honoured that our contribution to the community has been rewarded with the Science and Technology award in the field of proteomics. This work was spearheaded by Founder of Evosep Ole Vorm and Head of Applications Nicolai Bache.
