At the moment the Whisper Zoom methods covers throughputs from 20 to 120 samples per day to scale high-sensitivity proteomics including SCP,
deep visual proteomics (DVP) and phosphoproteomics workflows.

EVOTIP BRINGS INNOVATIVE SAMPLE STORAGE INTRODUCTION TO HIGH-SENSITIVITY LC-MS WORKFLOWS

The Evotip, a disposable trap column, is the core of our technology. The Evotip serves as an integrated purification step, where contaminants are left on the tip, and analytically relevant peptides are eluted.

The Evotip is extraordinary important for ultra-sensitive analysis, as very small sample amounts can be loaded in higher volumes.

Furthermore, loaded Evotips can be stored cold until analysis, which is especially important for single cell proteomics, where very limited sample amount sets higher demands to the storage of peptide and become a crucial factor for reproducible analysis.

Efficient SAMPLE CAPTURE AND RECOVERY ALLOWS FOR SENSITIVE ANALYSIS

In contrast to other omics technologies, a prerequisite for proteomics is to get the best results possible from the starting material available. This sets high requirements to minimizing losses – a challenge throughout complex sample preparation workflows as each sample transfer step entails a source of variation and sample loss through peptide adsorption and loss of sample volume.

The Evotip reduces the number of sample transfer steps compared to alternative strategies, but still benefits from using n-dodecyl-β-D-maltoside(DDM) for low sample loads until saturation is observed at higher loads. As peptides are stored equally well on the Evotip regardless of using DDM, the beneficial effect from DDM impacts the sample preparation workflow upstream of the Evotip
