The 300 samples per day method

STANDARD METHOD

Very high peak capacity per minute for high-throughput analysis

The Evosep One is designed for high throughput and robustness, while maintaining sensitivity for proteomics applications.

The 300 SPD method is ideally suited for routine clinical analysis with high run-to-run reproducibility of just 0.24 seconds.

The HIGHEST CHROMATOGRAPHIC PERFORMANCE PER GRADIENT MINUTE

The 300 SPD method provides high peak capacity per minute among our standard methods. Peak capacity is the most common measure of chromatographic performance and is defined as the number of peaks, that can be resolved over a gradient.

For high throughput analysis of complex samples, highest peak capacity in the shortest time is a relevant measure. This is achieved by ultra fast methods employing short columns and high flow rates providing the best separation power per gradient minute made affordable by the low overhead time on the Evosep One.

Importantly, the narrower peaks greatly reduce redundant sampling thus suggesting that the sensitivity of the analysis is boosted by employing the faster standard methods.

High sequencing speed with modern mass spectrometers

The first peptides elute already after 40 seconds, and with a full elution window of 2.3 minutes, the effective gradient elution is 72%. The short overhead time of only 1.6 minutes allows for an ultra high throughput of 300 samples per day.

By utilizing the high sequencing speed on modern mass spectrometers, a high load identifies 3300 unique peptides corresponding to nearly 1000 proteins.

The six standard methods

With the six standard methods, the Evosep One covers a range of use cases from comprehensive proteome analysis with fractionation strategies to ultra high-throughput single-shot analysis. You decide how fast you want to go.
