The 500 samples per day method
STANDARD METHOD
ULTRA HIGH-THROUGHPUT ANALYSIS
The Evosep One is designed for high throughput and robustness, while maintaining sensitivity for proteomics applications.
The 500 SPD method is ideally suited for routine clinical analysis with high run-to-run reproducibility.
Robust performance with ultra high-throughput analysis of 500 samples per day
The 500 SPD method is designed for ultra high-throughput. It facilitates a 2.2 min gradient with a total cycle time of 2.9 minutes.
It robustly quantifies 2,500 proteins from 200 ng peptide load, enabling more than 1,000 proteins quantified per minute, measured on a timsTOF Pro 2 and analyzed with DIA-NN.
Thus, not being designed for proteome coverage, the method has exciting potential for plasma samples and targeted clinical applications.
Scalable plasma proteomics with high precision on the SCIEX ZENOTOF 7600
The 500 SPD is ideally suited when throughput is one of the most important aspects of a study. Despite the short gradient time of 2.2 minutes, the method still provides good proteome coverage.
An undepleted plasma sample quantified 277 proteins using the SCIEX ZenoTOF 7600. Importantly, most of the proteins were quantified with very high precision with a CV below 10%, whereas the median CV was below 5%, which is a crucial factor for clinical proteomics.
The six standard methods
With the six standard methods, the Evosep One covers a range of use cases from comprehensive proteome analysis with fractionation strategies to ultra high-throughput single-shot analysis. You decide how fast you want to go.
Standard method
The highest peak capacity per minute with our fastest method for ultra-high throughput analysis.
Standard method
Excellent sequencing speed with most peptides per minute among our standard methods.
Standard method
A great “in-between” method with run-to-run reproducibility of just one second.
Standard method
The most popular method with an excellent balance of throughput and depth.
Standard method
The longest method with a 44-minute gradient providing the best overall proteome coverage.
